BEFORE COLBY

Michael graduated from Burke Mountain Academy, where he was a member of the soccer and cycling teams. He was co-valedictorian of his senior class. Michael has interned in research at MassPay.

AT COLBY

Michael is majoring in Economics. He is a member of the Colby Debate Society and serves as vice president. He is a co-captain of the men's team for 2017.

2017 season highlights: Michael qualified for the NCAA Division I Championships for the second time, finishing 14th in the giant slalom and 21st in the slalom. Boardman won the second run and finished 12th overall in the giant slalom at the U.S. Alpine Championships. He also was 28th in the slalom at the U.S. meet. Boardman had top-10 results in slalom at the Wes Marco, Kenney Memorial, and Turkey Chase meets. He also had top-10 giant slalom results at the St. Lawrence Carnival, Sugarloaf Eastern Cup, and Sunday River Eastern Open. 

2016 season highlights: Boardman had a strong junior season with the Mules, finishing 10th in the Colby Carnival giant slalom. Mike finished 11th in the Vermont Carnival GS, 15th in the Dartmouth GS, 25th in the Dartmouth slalom, and 20th in the Williams Carnival GS. Boardman finished the season taking 13th in the slalom at the Eastern Championships.

2015 season highlights: Boardman had another successful season with the Mules, finishing ninth in the giant slalom at the Eastern Championships, his best finish of the year. Boardman finished 13th in the giant slalom in the St. Lawrence Carnival, 16th in the giant slalom at the Middlebury Carnival, and 17th in the GS at the Dartmouth Carnival.

2014 season highlights: Boardman, in his first year with the Mules, finished 28th in the giant slalom and 29th in the slalom at the NCAA Division I Championships. He was 10th in the giant slalom and 18th in the slalom at the Eastern Championships. Boardman's best finish was seventh in the giant slalom in the Williams Carnival. He also was 11th in the GS at New Hampshire, 15th at Dartmouth, and 19th at Sugarloaf in the Colby Carnival.
