Ellis graduated with highest honors from Stowe High and was a member of the alpine ski and golf teams. He received the George Tormey Award for dedication to academics and sports.


Ellis is majoring in Art History with a minor in Economics. He is the treasurer of the Student Advisory Board of the Colby Museum and a member of SAAC. Ellis was a research intern in Jan Plan for the L.C. Bates Museum. He was co-curator of the L.C. Bates Summer Show.

2018 season highlights: Grubman had his best showing in the UVM Carnival, placing 30th in slalom. He also placed in the Dartmouth Carnival, Williams Carnival, and the NCAA Regional Championships.

2017 season highlights: Grubman had three top-10 finishes in his second season.

2016 season highlights: Grubman competed for the Mules in his first season, finishing 43rd in the Colby Carnival slalom. At the Dartmouth Carnival, Grubman took 42nd in the GS and 48th in the slalom.
