Sandy graduated from Stowe High School, where she was a member of the cross country, soccer, and lacrosse teams. She was an honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society. Sandra took a gap year and skied for the Park City (Utah) Ski Team. She was a member of the Mount Mansfield Ski Club for 10 years and also played club soccer for eight years. Sandy has interened at Inntopia.
Sandy, who is a captain for the women's team in 2018, is a Biology major and has a minor in Anthropology. She is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor. Sandra is part of the Colby Meditation and Buddhist Society. She is a member of the Space Club and the Hammock Club. Sandy took third place in a slalom race at the FIS Open event at Sunday River in December 2017.
2018 season highlights: Schoepke finished top-30 in every carnival this season. She had her best finishes in the UVM Carnival and the Dartmouth Carnival, where she placed 12th in both GS, and placed 13th in the UVM slalom. She also finished at 17th in the Regional Championships slalom.
2017 season highlights: Schoepke had six top-20 finishes in slalom and two in GS. Her best finishes were 10th place in slalom and ninth in GS, both at the UVM Carnival. Sandy also competed at the U.S. Alpine Championships, finishing 17th in the giant slalom and 28th in the slalom.
