Schoepke, Wilson lead alpine ski teams in Dartmouth slalom

HANOVER, N.H. -- Sandy Schoepke placed fifth for the Colby College women's alpine team in the slalom and Matt Wilson was eighth for the men at the Dartmouth College Carnival at the Dartmouth Skiway on Saturday.

A day after the giant slalom was postponed due to weather conditions, the Colby men placed fourth overall in the slalom and the women took fifth place.
 
Schoepke (pictured) had runs of 52.27 and 51.61 for a total time of 1:43.88. Rosie Hust was 20th for the Mules in 1:46.52 on runs of 53.17 an 53.35. 
 
Julia Chahine took 29th place in 1:47.92 (55.75, 52.17) and Lily Hogan was 30th with a 1:48.04 (55.25, 52.79).
 
Wilson's eighth-place finish included runs of 47.31 and 50.71 for a two-run total  time of 1:38.02. 
 
Paul Ferri finished 16th with a 1:39.37 (47.74, 51.63), while Colbey Derwin had 48.69 and 52.08 for a finish of 1:40.77.
