Dave Dunn, a head coach at Catholic University of America and Becker College, is the new offensive coordinator for the Colby College football team for the 2017-18 academic year.
"Coach Dunn brings a great deal of experience to Colby," Colby head coach Jonathan Michaeles said. "We are thrilled to have his expertise on the offensive side of the ball. He is a proven leader who will continue to develop our offense and the quarterback position."
Dunn spent 10 years at Catholic as head coach and helped the Cardinals win a share of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference title and capture the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship in 2008.
Before his coaching stint at Catholic, Dunn started the program at Becker and recruited more than 100 players for the team's first year of competition in 2005.
Dunn was running backs coach and special team coordinator for Florida Atlantic in 2003 and 2004. Dunn helped the Owls make the 2003 NCAA Division I-AA semifinals. He worked with linebackers for Indiana State in 1992 and was a defensive line coach at San Diego in 1990.
