Men's hockey team ranked in both national polls after big wins

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The Colby College men's hockey team is in the top 15 of both the national polls released Monday.

The Mules (5-1 overall) are ranked 12th in NCAA Division III in the United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) poll and rank 13th in the D3hockey.com poll.
 

Colby, coming off a sweep of games against Bowdoin College on Friday and Saturday, lead the New England Small College Athletic Conference with a 4-0 record. The Mules are first in the USCHO poll among conference schools. Hamilton College is ranked 11th in the D3hockey poll, but are the top team receiving votes in the other poll.

Colby has two more games before closing out the first semester of play. The Mules visit Connecticut College on Friday at 7 p.m. Colby heads to Tufts University for a 4 p.m. game Saturday.
