Tickets to be distributed for Colby/Bowdoin hockey game

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Tickets for the Colby/Bowdoin men’s hockey  game will be distributed over the next two days.

For Colby faculty and staff: Wednesday, Nov. 28, from noon to 1 p.m. in the lobby area of the Harold Alfond Athletic Center. 

For the public: Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the lobby area of the Harold Alfond Athletic Center.

For students: Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 27-28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at the information desk at Pulver Pavilion. Please show your Colby identification when picking up the ticket. Students can bring a friend's ID card to pick up a ticket for that person.

Tickets for faculty, staff, and the public are limited to two per person. The game is Saturday, Dec. 1, between the Mules and the Polar Bears at Alfond Rink at 7 p.m. Tickets will be distributed until the supply is exhausted. 

Free tickets are required for admittance to the game and doors to the rink will open at 6 p.m. on December 1. The men’s hockey team and the Colby Department of Athletics are asking for a $1 donation with all proceeds going to No Shave November, a non-profit organization devoted to growing cancer awareness and raising funds to support cancer prevention, research, and education.

The Colby women’s basketball team will play at 2 p.m. against Bowdoin on December 1. Women’s hockey also is at home against Hamilton College at 3 p.m. The rink will be cleared after the women’s hockey game. Colby men's basketball has a non-conference home game with Colby-Sawyer College at 4 p.m.
