Men's soccer falls in tough 1-0 overtime game

WENHAM, Mass. -- Despite a 13-11 shot advantage, the Colby College men's soccer team fell 1-0 in overtime at Gordon College in non-conference play Tuesday night.
 
The Mules (1-2 overall) have dropped two straight 1-0 overtime games. Colby fell to third-ranked Tufts University on Saturday in the extra session.
 
Jeff Rosenberg had five of Colby's 13 shots, while goalkeeper Dan Carlson stopped four shots.
 
Nate Boyer scored 5:19 into overtime from Tyler Modzekeski for Gordon (3-2). The Mules forced goalkeeper Wesley Sprague to make eight saves.
