Men's soccer falls to No. 21 Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn. -- After battling to a 1-0 win over Trinity College on Saturday, the Colby College men's soccer team fell behind in the first minute of play in a 2-0 setback to 21st-ranked Connecticut College on Sunday.
 
The Mules dropped to 3-3-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the NESCAC, while the Camels are 7-0 and 4-0 in the conference.
 
Game highlights
* MT Tshuma scored just 35 seconds into the contest off a rebound from a shot by Christian Murphy.
 
* The Mules did settle down nicely and kept the Camels off the scoreboard until the final 10 minutes of the second half. Liam Noonan scored with 7:50 remaining with a shot to the lower left corner.
 
* Dan Carlson (pictured, Littleton, Mass./Economics) had five saves for the Mules.
 
Next up
The Mules take on Middlebury College on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for the Michael P. Russell Memorial Cup.
