Men's squash falls in first tournament match

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The 21st-ranked Colby College men’s squash team had a number of close matches, but 20th-ranked University of Virginia beat the Mules for the second time this season in an 8-1 win at the College Squash Association Team Championships at Yale University on Friday.

The Mules will move on to the consolation round of the Summers Cup (teams ranked 17 to 24) and play 24th-ranked Hobart College on Saturday at 9 a.m.
Andrew Swapp was a 3-1 winner at the eighth spot for Colby’s victory.
The Mules lost two 3-2 and three 3-1 matches.
