Men's squash finishes sixth at NESCAC tourney

HARTFORD, Conn. — The 19th-ranked Colby College men’s squash team settled for sixth place at the NESCAC Championships after falling 5-4 to Wesleyan University on Sunday.

The Mules came into the match as the fifth seed, while Wesleyan was seeded sixth and ranked 20th in the country.
Hugh Doherty had the win of the day for the Mules, fighting back from a 2-1 set deficit to win 11-6, 11-7 in the final two sets at the seventh position.
CJ Smith won 3-1 at the third position and Andrew Swapp was a winner by the same score at the eighth spot for Colby. Matt Epstein had the lone 3-0 victory for the Mules at nine.
