Men's squash wins, advances to NESCAC quarterfinal match

CLINTON, N.Y. -- Benjamin Kwass and Elliot Gross both won in straight sets in positions two and three for the sixth-seeded Colby College men's squash team in an 8-1 victory over No. 11 Wesleyan University in the NESCAC Championships opening round Friday.

The Mules will take on third-seeded Williams College in a quarterfinal match Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
 
Kwass won 11-7, 11-2, 11-9 at the second position. Gross had the easiest match of the night with an 11-4, 11-0, 11-4 victory at three.
 
Will Pepi, Alex Kurtin, Chase Holding, Jason Brodo, Andrew Swapp, and Matt Epstein also had wins for the Mules.
