No. 37 men's tennis wins opener on California trip

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The 37th-ranked Colby College men's tennis team opened up the California trip with an easy 8-1 victory over Chapman University on Sunday.

Carl Reid, Vlad Murad, Scott Altmeyer, Zale Shah, and Shaw Speer all had straight set singles wins for Colby (5-1 overall).
 

Reid and Murad keep winning at first doubles, this time with an 8-2 win. Altmeyer and Shah (pictured) won at second doubles, while Speer teamed with Cam Hillier for a win at third doubles.

The Mules will play fifth-ranked University of Chicago on Monday at 1 p.m. (EST).
