Men's tennis trounces league rival Hamilton, 9-0

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The 33rd-ranked Colby College men's tennis team won by a 9-0 score for the second straight day after easily beating NESCAC rival Hamilton College on Sunday.

The Mules (2-0 overall) won all six singles matches in straight sets and gave up just one game in the three doubles matches. Colby took a 9-0 win against Franklin Pierce University on Saturday.
 
Scott Altmeyer and Sumukh Pathi both won by 6-0, 6-2 scores at the first two singles spots  The pair also took an 8-0 victory at first doubles.
 
Garrett Reiter, Jonathan Hallal, Luis Gonzalez (pictured), and Jeremy Mendoza also won singles matches.
 
Mendoza and Gonzalez were 8-0 winners at second doubles, while Shaw Speer and Reiter took the third doubles match.
 
Colby will play Middlebury College this Friday at Dartmouth College at 5 p.m.
