Men's track has two winners at Wheaton meet

NORTON, Mass. -- James Gibson placed first in the triple jump and second in the long jump for the Colby College men's indoor track and field team at the Wheaton College Invitational on Saturday.

Gibson had a leap of 43-feet, 10-inches in the triple jump and went 20-11.25 in the long jump.
 
Ty Farris had the other individual win, posting a 7.03 in taking the 60 dash.
 
Noel Feeney, James O'Donnell, Liam McDonough, and Gabe Kline combined to win the distance medley relay in 10:55.90.
 
Zach O'Connor also had a fine day in the sprints, finishing second to Farris in the 60 dash (7.17) and second in the 200 dash (22.93). Marcques Houston added a fourth in the 200 dash (22.97).
 
Sage Bailin placed third in the 100 hurdles (8.98), fourth in the long jump (20-4.25), and ran the first leg of the third place 1,600 relay event. He teamed up with James O'Donnell, Houston, and Ben Smith to finish in 10:55.90.
