Bailin wins NESCAC Championship in 400 M Hurdles

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Men's outdoor track and field team traveled to Middlebury on Saturday for the Outdoor Track and Field NESCAC Championships. Rain and cold temperatures made for challenging conditions, but the Mules still came away with several top performances.

Highlights

  • Sage Bailin earned 1st place in the 400 Meter hurdles with a time of 53.71
  • Tanner Burton came in 2nd place in the 110 Meter hurdles with a time of 14.96. The time ranks him 2nd in the NESCAC and 3rd among Division 3 athletes in the New England Region this season. Bailin was 8th in the same event.
  • Reeve Maddux placed 7th in the 10000 Meter Run in a time of 32:20.49. The event was the first 10 Km race of his outdoor track collegiate career.

All Conference: Bailin and Burton both earned NESCAC All-Conference Honors for their performances.

Colby competes next at the Division III New England Champions at Williams College starting Friday, May 3rd.
