WATERVILLE, Maine -- Despite missing time in the fourth quarter with foul trouble, Colby College junior Haley Driscoll finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds in a 53-46 victory over University of Southern Maine in non-conference women's basketball Tuesday night.
The Huskies twice got the lead back down to three points at 47-44 and 49-46. Alexa Srolovitz hit two free throws with 33 seconds remaining to make it 49-46.
Katie McCrum added nine points, six rebounds, and five assists for the Mules (10-9 overall). Emily Davis finished with seven points and eight boards, Ainsley Burns had eight points, and Jackie Albanese (pictured) came off the bench with six points.
Colby led 24-16 at halftime, but the Huskies played hard on the defensive end and cut the lead to 37-33 after three quarters.
