WATERVILLE, Maine -- Haley Driscoll had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and the Colby College women's basketball team had a huge rebounding margin in a 56-41 victory over Connecticut College in NESCAC play Friday.
Colby had a 46-25 rebounding advantage, including 17 offensive boards. The Camels struggled from long distance, going 0-for-10.
Mairead Hynes, struggling with an injury, still scored 12 points to lead the Camels. Liz Malman finished with seven points, Meg Corcoran had six points and six rebounds, and Caroline Pangallo had six points. Samantha Ashton led the Camels in assists with three.
The Camels could never get closer than 10 points in the final 20 minutes of play.
