WATERVILLE, Maine -- Haley Driscoll (pictured) had a game-high 21 points and added eight rebounds, two blocked shots, two steals, and two assists for the Colby College women's basketball team in a 59-41 win over University of Maine at Fort Kent on Sunday at Wadsworth Gymnasium.
Driscoll was 8-for-14 from the field on a mixture of drives to the basket and 12-foot jumpers. She also went 5-for-5 from the foul line. Ainsley Burns had 12 points on 6-for-12 shooting, while MK Caverly dished a game-high six assists and had six rebounds.
After taking a 25-19 halftime lead, Colby had a 34-22 scoring advantage in the second half. The Mules shot 47 percent (8-for-17) in the fourth quarter to pull away.
