Women's squash posts big victory over 22nd-ranked Wellesley

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The 25th-ranked Colby College women's squash team picked up a big win after easily beating 22nd-ranked Wellesley College by a 9-0 score on Saturday at the Dunaway Courts.

The Mules fell 5-4 to Wellesley in the first weekend of the season in November. However, the Mules were playing without three key players who were in action Saturday.
 

Devin Mullaney, at the first position for Colby, was one of seven players to win by 3-0 scores. Madiha Molani allowed just nine total points in winning at the second spot, while Julianna Sonog was a 3-0 winner at three.

Olivia Silverman, Cricket di Galoma (pictured), Caroline Pelham, Ren Robinson, Lily Wain, and Elise O'Brien also had victories for Colby. Pelham and di Galoma both won 3-1 matches. Wain improved to 14-5 on the season, while Mullaney won her 10th match.
 

The Mules also lost 5-4 to Tufts University at the start of the season and will host the 18th-ranked Jumbos on Sunday at 2 p.m.
