Women's squash holds off Wellesley in tight match

WATERVILLE, Maine — The 20th-ranked Colby College women’s squash team was at full strength this time against Wellesley College in a 6-3 victory at the Dunaway Courts on Saturday.

The Mules lost 7-2 to 22nd-ranked Wellesley back in November, but Colby only had eight players for the match and were missing some key players.
Devin Mullaney fought back from two sets down to win at the first position for Colby. She won 11-6, 11-8, 11-7 in the final three sets against Sarah Zhang.
Colby senior captain Julie Wolpow won 3-0 at the second position in her final home match. Wolpow is 12-8 on the season.
Mule first-year Helen Bernhard moved to 14-6 with a victory at the third spot. Caroline Pelham won at the seventh position to move her record to 11-7. Lily Wain won in straight sets and has a team-best 14-4 record at eight. Ren Robinson won her 11th match with another straight set victory at the ninth spot.
