February 16, 2019 Paige breaks school record in 1,000 freestyle at NESCAC meet MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- Colby College first-year Addie Paige broke the school record in the 1,000-yard freestyle and placed fourth overall at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at Wesleyan University on Saturday.
February 16, 2019 Paige, Hammer-Grant lead Mules at NESCAC meet MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- Addie Paige swam the second-fastest 500-yard freestyle in school history for Colby College at the NESCAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at Wesleyan on Friday night. Paige had a time of 5 minutes, 1.43 seconds in taking 11th place in the 500 freestyle. The first-year also swam the anchor leg and teamed with Olivia Hammer-Grant, Mila Schowtka, and Georganna Benedetto to swim the third-fastest 200 freestyle relay. The relay team placed ninth overall with a 1:38.13 clocking. Hammer-Grant swam the third-fastest 50 freestyle in school history in a preliminary race (24.31) and then placed 15th overall in 24.68. In 1-meter diving, Kirsten Johnston took 10th place with 327.85 points and teammate Steph Fawell was 13th at 309.25. Full results: http://www.collegeswimming.us/results/104693/
February 14, 2019 Women's relay team takes ninth in NESCAC meet opening event MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- The Colby College women's swimming and diving team started the NESCAC Championships on Thursday with one event before Friday's full day schedule.
