Women's tennis at 3-0 after beating Thomas

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The Colby College women's tennis team finished off a 3-0 weekend by dropping just two total games in a 9-0 victory over Thomas College in non-conference play Sunday.

 

Gabriela Venditti was one of four singles players to win 6-0, 6-0  at the first position. Jamie Pine at the third spot, Emily Dyckman at five, and first-year Hania Lenderking won at sixth singles by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

Maddie Lupone was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at second singles, while Annie Morris took the fifth singles spot in a 6-1, 6-0 score.
Lydia Venditti did not play singles Sunday, but did team with her sister for an 8-0 win at first doubles. Pine and Morris combined to win at second doubles, while newcomers Dyckman and Lenderking won 8-0 at third doubles.
