Women's tennis earns tough win over Redlands

REDLANDS, Calif. -- Gabriela Venditti was a winner at third singles and teamed with Callie Nesbitt at first doubles for a victory in Colby College's 6-3 win over University of Redlands in women's tennis Wednesday.

Venditti won at third singles in comeback fashion, winning the second set 7-5 and then a super-tiebreaker by a 10-6 score. 
 
Venditti and Nesbitt took an 8-7 win at first doubles, while Lydia Venditti and Carly Levitz won 8-7 at second doubles. The third doubles team of Katherine Dougherty and Lindsey Hernandez also won 8-6. 
 
Levitz won 6-2, 6-0 at first singles and Emilia Callery was a 6-2, 6-4 winner at sixth singles for the Mules.
