Women's tennis closes out California trip with third straight victory

ORANGE, Calif. -- The Colby College women's tennis team went 4-1 during the spring break trip to California after a 7-2 win against Chapman University on Friday.

Colby is 4-3 overall after winning its final three matches.
 
Carly Levitz had the wildest match of the day after taking a 6-0 win in the first set. She lost 6-0 in the second set and then won 6-3 to clinch the match at first singles.
 
Lydia Venditti, Gabriela Venditti, Callie Nesbitt, and Katherine Dougherty had straight set singles wins. 
 
Gabriela Venditti and Nesbitt were 8-0 winners at second doubles, while Dougherty joined Lindsey Hernandez for an 8-6 win at the third spot.
