Women's tennis ranked 36th in first national poll

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The Colby College women's tennis team is ranked 36th in the country in the first Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III poll.

The Mules, a team with nine players at sophomore standing or younger, is led by seniors Gabriela Venditti, Lydia Venditti, and junior Jessica Tsai. 
 
First-year Carly Levitz had a fine fall season and is ranked 29th in the country.
 
The Mules and new head coach Adam Reeb open the spring season Sunday, March 10, at noon against Franklin Pierce.
