Kelley is a Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Commission for Dietetic Registration and a Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Maine. She is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) through the American Society of Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition (ASPEN) and has a certification of adult weight management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Kelley earned her BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition through the University of Maine at Orono in 2005 and completed her dietetic internship at Keene State College in Keene, N.H. in 2006. Prior to consulting for Colby College, Kelley worked for Shands Hospital at The University of Florida both as an outpatient RD working with eating disorders, nutrition support, and GI disorders and inpatient RD specializing in nutrition support for critically ill patients in the cardiac, trauma and surgical intensive care units. Kelley's research interests include eating disorders, enteral nutrition, celiac disease, and sports nutrition. In her spare time Kelley enjoys running, weight training, volunteering, and cooking.
