Baseball team drops two games on second day of Florida trip

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- The Colby College baseball team received three hits over two games from Will Phillips and Matt Treveloni in falling 9-1 and 11-7 to Union College on Sunday.

First-year Andrew Russell made his collegiate debut with two hits, two runs, and an RBI for Colby (1-3 overall).
In the nightcap, Phillips (pictured) was 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one stolen base. Treveloni finished with a pair of hits, two runs, and two RBI. 
Andrew Sterup had one hit and two runs scored. Jackson Ward added an hit and two RBI.
Treveloni tripled and scored the lone run in the first game. Tyler Mulberry had the RBI and added a hit. Phillips and Ward both had one hit each.
