Dugan enters his fifth year at Colby as an assistant coach in the 2019-20 academic year, his first as Offensive Coordinator. This will be his fourth year leading the offensive line. He coached the running backs in his first season on Mayflower Hill in 2015, coaching Jabari Hurdle-Price to All-NESCAC First Team honors.
Dugan came to Colby from Springfield College where he was the junior varsity head coach and a graduate assistant offensive line coach from January, 2013 to January, 2015. During his time at Springfield, Dugan coached four All-Liberty League selections on the offensive line, including New England Football Writers’ Division II/III All-New England Selection and USA College Football All-American selection Joe Cianciolo in 2014.
Prior to his time at Springfield, Dugan spent one season at Maine Maritime Academy in 2012 as the positional coach for the running backs and long snappers.
Dugan earned his Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management from Springfield College in 2012 and his Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Springfield College in 2015.
Dugan was a four-year member of the football team at Springfield, starting at center in his final two years. He earned Empire 8 All-Conference Honorable Mention after his senior season in 2011 along with the Male Athlete Unsung Hero Award and the Solem-Dunn-Osur Brotherhood Award from Springfield College.
