At 6-1, Mules rank improves to #17

Waterville, Maine - After two more wins on the road, the Colby College Field Hockey team improves its national ranking to #17 in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Coaches Poll.

The Mules came from behind on the road at Hamiltion College to win Saturday's contest 3-2 in over time.  The team remained in New York for a Sunday contest against Utica College and came away with a 3-0 victory.  The only blemish on the season for Colby came in the fourth game of the year on the road at Tufts University (ranked #5), falling 3-2 with seconds remaining in regulation.  Senior Georgia Cassidy is currently second in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) in points with 15 on the season.  Goal keeper Emily Buckman is ranked second in save percentage with .836.
