Colby crews to have annual ergathon starting Friday

WATERVILLE, Maine -- The Colby College crews will keep two ergometers spinning for 24 hours starting Friday at 4 p.m. to raise money to combat invasive milfoil on Messalonskee Lake.

For the fourth consecutive year, each crew will have rowers rotating every hour through the night until Saturday at 4 p.m. in the annual Colby Crew Ergathon.
The event takes place in Pulver Pavilion of Cotter Union to allow the Colby Community to see what the crews' winter training looks like.
The crews are raising money for the Friends of Messalonskee to help keep milfoil off the lake. Colby uses Messalonskee Lake for practices and competitions.
For those wishing to donate, there will be a donation jar at the event or go to the following link and click on donate in the upper right corner https://www.
