Layton, who already earned a spot on the All-NESCAC First Team this season for his play at goalie, was the only goalie named to the All New England Second Team. As a senior at Colby, he finished the season with a 56.3% save percentage, leading the Mules to their first NESCAC playoff berth since 2015. For a five game stretch this season, he recorded save percentages over 60%. Layton finished his career at Colby with a 54.4% save percentage and totaled 485 saves over 37 games.
Hassan, a junior at Colby, was named to the Third Team midfield. He led the Mules this season with 26 goals and added eight assists for 34 points. He also picked up 12 ground balls and caused four turnovers to help catalyze the Mules offense this season. Hassan returns for his senior year next fall.
