Men's squash nearly pulls off upset of Bates

LEWISTON, Maine -- A year after dropping an 8-1 home match to Bates College, the 24th-ranked Colby College men's squash team fell just 5-4 this year and nearly pulled out the match against  the 20th-ranked Bobcats on Wednesday.

The Mules dropped to 6-6 overall and came into the match fresh off a win over Bowdoin College on Tuesday at home. Bates is 7-2 overall.
 
Chase Holding had the lone 3-0 victory for Colby. Benjamin Kwass (pictured) at two, Andrew Swapp at eight, and Matt Epstein at nine were 3-1 winners.
