Gross named to All-NESCAC first team, Spafford on second team

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby College senior Elliot Gross (Penn Valley, Pa.) and first-year Alex Spafford (Toronto, Canada) were both named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Squash All-Conference Team on Friday.

Gross, the Mules' first position player, made the first team. Spafford (pictured) made the second team while playing the second spot in his first season at Colby.
 
At the NESCAC Championship meet, Gross and Spafford both went 3-1 at the tourney. Gross finished his career with 33 victories. Spafford had victories against both Bates College and Bowdoin College.
