BEFORE COLBY

Carl graduated from Belmont Hill where he played soccer, squash, and tennis. He was an All-ISL selection for soccer and a two-time ISL MVP for tennis. After graduation, Carl will be working as a financial analyst at PFM Group.

AT COLBY

Carl is majoring in Government with a minor in Economics. He is a Senior Admissions Fellow and the music director for the Colby Eight.

2016-2017 season highlights: Carl earned the Millett Award at the Colby senior athletic awards ceremony as top male athlete. He was the first Colby men's tennis player to eclipse 100 career wins and finished up at 107-44 (56-18 singles, 51-26 doubles). Reid earned his sixth All-NESCAC honor after being named to the second team for singles. He was 14-4 in singles and 17-4 in doubles during his senior year. 

2015-2016 season highlights: Reid finished the singles season with a record of 12-4 from the first position and was on the NESCAC Second Team for singles play. He has earned five All-NESCAC honors in three years. In doubles, Reid finished the season with eight victories, playing primarily with Vlad Murad. Reid will be a team captain again his senior season alongside Cam Hillier.

2014-2015 season highlights: Reid finished the singles season with a record of 15-4 from the first position, earning All-American honors for the second consecutive season. In doubles, Reid finished the season with a record of 15-6, playing primarily with Vlad Murad. He was All-NESCAC First Team for singles and made the second team for doubles.

2013-2014 season highlights: Reid finished the season with an impressive singles record of 14-1, went 14-0 from the first position, and earned All-American honors. In doubles, Reid finished the year with a record of 11-5, playing primarily with Vlad Murad. He was the NESCAC Rookie of the Year, made the NESCAC First Team for singles, and was on the second team for doubles.
