Men's tennis handles Hamilton

CLINTON, N.Y. -- The 29th-ranked Colby College men's tennis team reached double digit victories for the season and won all six singles matches in an 8-1 win over Hamilton College on Sunday.

The Mules improved to 10-4 overall and 2-2 in NESCAC play, while Hamilton dropped to 4-11 and 0-4 in the league.

Shaw Speer went to a pro-set in fifth singles to win his match and teamed with Cam Hillier for a victory at third doubles. Hillier was a straight set winner at sixth singles.

Carl Reid, Vlad Murad, Scott Altmeyer, and Zale Shah (pictured) also had straight set victories in singles play.

Reid and Murad were 8-4 winners at first doubles.
