Altmeyer ranked 17th nationally, fifth in Northeast Region

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby College's Scott Altmeyer (Princeton, N.J.) is ranked 17th nationally and fifth in the Northeast Region of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in the first NCAA Division III rankings of the year.

"These are well deserved rankings for Scott after a strong fall season. He has put in a lot of work into his game and it's great to see some recognition for those efforts," Colby head coach Adam Reeb said. "We are excited about this for Scott and looking forward to a strong spring season as a team. This is a great group of guys who are very close and are motivated and hungry for success this spring season."
Altmeyer ended the fall season on a high note by beating two New England Small College Athletic Conference rivals in winning the 'A' Flight at the Wallach Invitational at Bates College.
During the 2018 spring season, Altmeyer finished 8-6 in singles and 10-5 in doubles play. He has 18 dual match singles wins over the past two years.
