Fields, Coletta once again lead Nordic ski teams

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- Zane Fields once again had the top finish for the Colby College men's Nordic ski team and Marin Coletta led the women for the second straight day at the St. Lawrence University Carnival at Mt. Van Hoevenberg on Sunday.

Fields finished in seventh place in the 10-kilometer classical event with a time of 29 minutes, 44.4 seconds. He was sixth in racing Saturday.
Coletta had a time of 35:46.2 in the women's 10K classical after taking ninth place Saturday. Coletta was less than one second out of ninth place in Sunday's racing.
The Colby women placed sixth overall with 66 points. Skylar Tupper took 31st place in 37:22.0, Erin Bianco (pictured) was 32nd with a 37:35.2, and Kirsten Miller finished 35th in 37:45.6.
The Colby men placed eighth with 63 points.
In combined scoring with the alpine teams, the Mules were tied for fourth place with University of New Hampshire.
