Softball falls in opening two NESCAC games

BRUNSWICK, Maine -- Holly Lallis had hits in both games for the Colby College softball team in 12-0 and 12-0 setbacks to Bowdoin College in a NESCAC doubleheader Saturday.

The Mules (1-13 overall, 0-2 NESCAC East) and Bowdoin will play an 11 a.m. game Sunday at Colby to finish the three-game series.
 
Ella Hommeyer, Wiley Holton, and Lallis (pictured) had hits for the Mules in the opener.
 
Maddie Rouhana homered and drove in three runs for the Polar Bears (16-5, 3-2 NESCAC East).
 
Lallis and Lucie Cunningham both went 1-for-1 in the nightcap and Cunningham stole a base. Hailey Rohall, Paige Hartnett, and Kathleen Mason also had hits for the Mules.
 
Andrea Dorsa went 2-for-2 and drove in three runs for Bowdoin.
