Waterville, Maine - Colby sophomore McKinley Karpa was named New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Week for her recent play in sweeping Bowdoin College, and the Mules are off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 2001. Karpa marks the second consecutive NESCAC player of the week for head coach Holley Tyng's program, as sophomore Lexi Cafiero earned the honor last week.
In Friday nights overtime win in Brunswick, Karpa scored the game winning goal with 30 seconds remaining. She also assisted in the first goal of each contest and leads the NESCAC with 1.25 points per contest.
