Volleyball falls in final home match

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Kate Wincek had five kills and hit .235 in her final home match for the Colby College volleyball team in a 3-0 loss to Connecticut College in NESCAC play Saturday.

By the numbers
* The Camels (11-7 overall, 2-6 NESCAC) won by set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-13.
* Wincek also had seven defensive digs for the Mules (3-13, 0-8).
* Paige Hanssen had a team-high eight kills and Elizabeth Middlebrook added five kills.
* Wincek, Emily Moslener, Kacie Wrean, and Eliza Liebler played their final home matches. Moslener had 14 assists.
Next on the schedule
* The Mules will play at the Smith College Tournament next Friday and Saturday. Colby faces Smith on Friday at 7 p.m. in its first match.
