Devine has solid setting debut in volleyball setback

BEVERLY, Mass. -- Katie Devine (pictured) had 22 assists in her first start in a setting role for the Colby College volleyball team in a 3-0 setback to Endicott College on Friday night as part of the MIT Invitational.

The Mules (1-1 overall) play Wellesley College on Saturday at 10 a.m. at MIT. Colby closes out the day with a 2 p.m. match with Suffolk University. 
Endicott (4-1) won by set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-19.
Colby's Paige Hanssen finished with a match-high nine kills and had two blocks. Elizabeth Middlebrook finished with seven kills and seven digs, while Julia Hutchings had five kills and 10 digs. Erin Maidman led the Mules in digs with 15.
Emma Mancini tied Hanssen for match-high honors in kills with nine for Endicott.
